Afghan Ambassador called on President …

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Sri Lanka M. Ashraf Haidari met with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat, today (12). The Ambassador extended his sincere congratulations to the President on behalf of the Afghan government and held discussions with President Rajapaksa to   further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Group of conmen using President’s name to make money

Two arrested ….. Investigations continue …. Information have received about a group of people defrauding the public of promising employment in State institutions. The Police received information that some of these tricksters  who claim to have close connections with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and two of them have been arrested by the Colombo Crime Division today…
