Middle Eastern Ambassadors called on President, pledge to further strengthen relations

Ambassadors representing the countries in the Middle Eastern Ambassadors’ Forum called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (09).

The new government would always receive the support and cooperation of the Middle Eastern countries, they said while affirming their countries’ continued assistance to Sri Lanka in economic and cultural sectors.

The Ambassadors extended their greetings to President Rajapaksa and said they will commit to further strengthen relations between Sri Lanka and the countries they represent in every sphere.

Ambassadors of the Palestine, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Libya and Qatar in Sri Lanka were present at the meeting.
